Self Improvement Choices

Another quote caught my eye last night and this time it hit me in the face like a shovel because I had just had a conversation at the gym that basically went like this on my side… “I can’t lose weight. Keep eating poorly on the weekends and some nights…”

Utter BS!

Losing weight is a choice

I thought about the post from last week and how relevant it is, but I just didn’t see it – blinders I guess. You never want to see yourself as you really are especially if it hurts. Here it is:

Stop saying “I can’t.”
You can.
You just chose not to…

I can lose weight. It is a very simple math formula for the most part. I’m obviously not good at personal math.

Take Action Tuesday

I have been eating better and doing some cardio, but still not enough to balance the equation so back to “Take action Tuesday!

I wanted to say I was going to plan it out on Wednesday and start on Thursday, but that would go against the whole …Tuesday… part of TAT. So I started Tuesday night and continued this morning(Wednesday) and I’m going to be making some serious choices from here to get lean.

Here are some of the things I CHOSE to do today:

  1. Chose what food to eat before I went to get it. Critical for me…
  2. Exercise – Went to the gym and lifted more heavy stuff and ran a mile.
  3. Started tracking my weight. Every day.
  4. Planning on going back to the gym tonight with my girls! Always motivating since they are in great shape.

Did you make any good choices today? Take Action! See you here tomorrow.

I made it back to the gym and had a great time with my daughters plus I got a 2 mile bonus run in while they were cycling. Weight is slowly moving in the right direction!
